According to a report on Reshet Bet this morning, the support of the two haredi parties, Shas and UTJ, for PM Netanyahu is no longer assured, as it was in the last three national elections.
A few days ago, the Prime Minister met with the heads of UTJ, Yaakov Litzman and Moshe Gafni, and asked them, as he did prior to the previous elections, to formally announce that they would only agree to ally themselves with him after the elections this coming spring. Their response was that they would first have to consult with their rabbinic advisers before giving an answer.
