Outgoing MK Zeev Elkin explained his decision in a Kan News interview: "Netanyahu's a very talented man, but his personal considerations are reflected at every possible juncture.
"The final rift was that we went to unnecessary and insane elections, and I knew we were doing it even though it could have been avoided. A similar crack was last year in going to a third election, even then we were taken to an election that could have been avoided."
