The Ministry of Health said the State of Israel is undergoing a health crisis the likes of which it has not seen since the creation of the State.

"Over the past days, dangerous mutations that spread the disease at an unprecedented rate have been discovered. We're in a race against time to catch up with the latest outbreak. The faster we are able to vaccinate the highest amount of individuals, the better off we'll be. Therefore, the Min of Health has instructed the director-general to work tirelessly to provide around-the-clock vaccinations, hire additional medical staff, and reach an average of over 100,000 vaccines a day," it stated.

"The virus puts all our lives on the line. There's nothing more important than stopping it," it added.
