MK Avigdor Liberman, head of the Yisrael Beytenu party, has criticized the government's plan to shut preschools during the upcoming lockdown from one p.m., saying that the decision shows how disconnected the government is from the lives of regular people.
"This decision has no logic to it, and no sensitivity to the needs of parents and grandparents of young children," he wrote on his Facebook page. "As someone with three grandchildren, it pains me to see decisions made, decisions lacking in professional logic, that harm children and their parents and destroy the education of the younger generation and the ability of their parents to earn a living."
