Eran Yaakov, interim director-general at the Finance Ministry, told Galei Tzahal this morning that the ministry would be providing assistance for businesses forced to close during the upcoming nationwide lockdown, due to commence on Sunday.
"We already have an economic safety net prepared," he said. "I'm confident that we will be distributing grants as long as there is a need for us to do so."
