Speaking on Reshet Bet this morning, Deputy Health Minister Yoav Kish expressed his concern that "the recent rise in the rate of infection among the haredi sector could be due to the mutation of the coronavirus" recently identified in the UK.

Kish also discussed yesterday's decision of Likud minister Zeev Elkin to leave his party and join New Hope, describing it as an "error. He chose the path of criticizing the judiciary and the state prosecution service, but a week ago, we were hearing different things from him. As for me, I will remain in my political home, with the best prime minister in the [history of] the State of Israel."
