The Blue and White party responded Wednesday night to Minister Ze'ev Elkin's decision to leave the Likud for Gideon Sa'ar's new party.
"If there was no trial - there would be a budget and without Blue and White in government there would be no trial. Blue and White defended democracy in government, and will continue to do so in the future against anti-liberal parties that seek to harm the court, leading to a binational state and the closure of supermarkets on Shabbat - the very party of which Elkin is a member," Blue and White stated.
