Starting at 22:00 tonight, anyone who arrives in Israel from abroad will be required to isolate in a coronavirus hotel. The restriction will apply regardless of which country they arrive from.
A special committee at the airport will examine the possibility of individual exceptions which will be allowed to enter home isolation instead of going to a hotel.
The exceptions would include the elderly, minors who travel abroad alone, women in advanced stages of pregnancy and people in need of special care.
