The Israeli government is expected to weigh reinstating a full lockdown today at the recommendation of the Ministry of Health.
Renewed measures would include: Closing of all educational institutions including kindergartens and pre-schools, shutting down of the entire business sector, and a ban on straying within a kilometer of one's place of residence.
The Health Min. is insisting terms for exiting such a lockdown would consist of an infection rate of 1,000 new cases or less nationwide. It says such a lockdown would likely last 3-4 weeks.
