The Knesset's Economics Committee approved the bill for advance compensation due to cancelation of an event during the coronavirus period for second and third readings.
The proposal allows couples and hall owners a time frame to negotiate the return of funds. If the parties agree on an alternative date that is canceled again due to the corona restrictions - there will be no obligation to negotiate and the funds will be returned to the couple.
