Police arrested a 32-year-old Petah Tikva resident on suspicion of blackmailing a 20-year-old man. The suspect's remand has been extended to today.
The young man told police he was blackmailed by another man he knew through a dating app and later met with him. According to the complaint, the suspect blackmailed the young man by threatening him that if he did not transfer money and other valuables to him, the suspect would distribute intimate pictures of him.
