Facebook removed groups and posts that included fake news about the COVID-19 vaccines. This, following a request from the cyber department of Israel's State Attorney's Office.
According to the cyber department, the publications presented false information that discouraged vaccination and were intended to cause panic. Distribution of such content is prohibited under Facebook's policy.
