The Young Settlement Forum deplored Defense Minister Benny Gantz's Jerusalem statement: "We are deeply shocked by the words of Defense Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Benny Gantz, who is willing to take 25,000 residents hostage just for the sake of political gain and the will of the extreme Left.
"It is now clear why Gantz decided to freeze the Kaminitz Law and legalize tens of thousands of illegal housing units in the Arab sector and instead hold-up at the last minute the moral and just decision-making proposal for Jewish settlement formulated with the consent of all legal and civil administration. It is not a matter of Right and Left, Benny Gantz. It's basic humanity. You should be ashamed," the Forum said in a statement.
