Channel 11 News reports some health funds are threatening not to vaccinate "even one person" until the State undertakes to be the one to bear responsibility.
A senior Kupat Holim official told Kan News that "if the State does not take responsibility, we will not vaccinate even one person. We are not able to take such a risk, we are a business entity - we will collapse."
Another senior HMO official told Kan News: "The Health Ministry seems to be playing with us. In the end, there is a nurse or a doctor who gives vaccinations, and they do not know if they have insurance, or if they'll find themselves in court in ten years."
