US President-elect Joe Biden welcomed the recommendation of the FDA’s advisory panel to approve Pfizer and BioNTech’s coronavirus vaccine for emergency use.
“Yesterday marked another tragic, preventable milestone in our fight against COVID-19, but this news is a bright light. I’m grateful for every scientist, researcher, and public health expert who made it possible,” he tweeted.
