Strategic Affairs Minister Michael Biton on Thursday welcomed the agreement on the normalization of ties between Israel and Morocco.

“I was born in Israel, but Morocco flows through my veins. About 25 years ago, I first went there with my mother Masuda and my wife Ilana, and I found my identity. This is a holiday for me,” he said.

“The seeds that were planted by the late Yitzhak Rabin have grown and are now being harvested. I thank US President Donald Trump, and hope to return to Morocco soon for an official visit, this time as a minister in the Israeli government," Biton added.
