Speaking on KanBet today, Deputy Attorney-General Erez Kaminetz discussed the recent failed attempt of the government to impose a night curfew for the next three weeks.
"What we are doing is trying to enable the government to implement its policies," Kaminetz said. "However, in cases where proposed policies are not legal, we do have to warn about this and raise a red flag. In a case where there is no health-related justification for a certain measure, it is not possible to limit the rights of the individual."
