Despite the uptick in recorded coronavirus infections recorded across the country, Ashdod's Assuta hospital has just one patient in its coronavirus department.
Dr. Assaf Peretz, the head of the coronavirus department at Assuta, commented that, "This is very encouraging data, but of course we have to bear in mind that the situation can change from moment to moment. I would urge the general public to continue to exercise caution, despite the news that vaccines are on the way. If there's anything that the coronavirus has taught us, it's that we don't know as much as we thought, and a little bit of modesty would go a long way."
