According to updated figures from the Health Ministry, 1,828 people were diagnosed with coronavirus in the last 24 hours, out of 73,146 tests administered.
318 people with a Covid-19 diagnosis are in serious condition in the country's hospitals, among whom 100 are on ventilators.
The death toll currently stands at 2,934 people.
