MK Avigdor Liberman, head of the Yisrael Beytenu party, was interviewed by Galei Tzahal and asked what he thought of recent polls that indicate that ex-Likud MK Gideon Sa'ar could garner close to 20 mandates in the country's next elections.
"At the outset, Avi Gabbay was also predicted to garner around 22 seats," Liberman said. "What concerns me is the way Sa'ar has been ingratiating himself with Shas and UTJ. Yesterday, he arrived too late for a Knesset vote, and he rushed to make hysterical phone calls to the heads of the haredi parties to apologize and explain what had happened."
Liberman added that, "Netanyahu is counting on establishing a minority government with MK Mansour Abbas as his safety net."
