According to a report in Israel Hayom, Jordan has relayed messages to Israel stating its desire to restart the Dead Sea renewal project in which the Red Sea would be connected to the salt-water basin.
According to the report, the issue came about following requests to the Ministry of Regional Cooperation as well a meeting between Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi and his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi last week.
