A senior Likud official confirmed this and said that attempts were still being made to reach a compromise with Blue and White. According to him, the flexibility should come from the Blue and White side, and not just from the Likud side, "because there are things that Blue and White are holding up, such as the appointments committee." However, he estimated that the chances of compromise and avoidance of elections are not high.
