Speaking on Reshet Bet, General (Res.) Giora Eiland commented on security warnings issued to Israelis in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and other Arab countries, in relation to expected reprisal attacks from Iran in the wake of the killing of nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.
"The National Security Agency has not told Israelis not to travel to such areas, but rather, to 'exercise caution' and not to stand out as Israelis," Eiland noted. "This is a measured assessment, and it indicates that there has been no specific threat identified, but rather, that the general impression is that the Iranians will be seeking to damage Israeli interests and that it will be easier for them to do so in these countries."
