Speaking on Radio 103FM, MK Shlomo Karhi (Likud) insisted that his party has no intention of sitting in a coalition with the predominantly Arab Joint List.

"We will not sit with the Joint List, and we will not form a government with them," he said. "If another kind of List is established, comprised of Arabs who recognize the State of Israel as Jewish and democratic, who condemn terrorism, and who concern themselves with the interests of Israeli citizens and not of suicide bombers who are trying to destroy us - then maybe there'll be something to talk about."
