Outgoing deputy director-general of the Health Ministry, Prof. Itamar Grotto, told Galei Tzahal this morning that the reason for the current increase in the number of confirmed coronavirus cases is not yet known.
"I see problems in the reopening of malls, but it's impossible to know for a fact that the pilot plan for reopening a small number of malls is responsible for the current uptick in the number of cases," he said. "We need to focus on other areas first."
