Speaking on Galei Tzahal this morning, coalition chairman MK Miki Zohar (Likud) commented on the recent collaborative efforts between the Arab Raam party (a component of the Joint List) and Prime Minister Netanyahu.
"We will not allow the Joint List to join any future coalition, as that would endanger Israel's security," he said. "When we need to get things done for our Arab citizens, of course we want to be of assistance - but that has nothing to do with political decisions that have to be made."
Zohar added that, "The internal political disputes of the Joint List are of no interest whatsoever to the Likud party."
Arab MKs have previously accused Netanyahu of attempting to cause the Joint List to fragment and indeed the Raam party, one of the four that make up the Joint List, absented itself from yesterday's Knesset vote while the remaining parties of the Joint List voted in favor of dissolving the Knesset.
