Deputy Health Minister Yoav Kish of the Likud responded to the demand by Knesset Members to approve weddings in a broader format.
Kish said that the Health Ministry has no problem with weddings, but only with the gatherings associated with them: "Look at what's happening in the Arab sector. Pirate weddings are raising mortality from the virus there."
