Lapid: If Blue & White want joint run, I'll head the party

Opposition head, MK Yair Lapid, discussed the motion to dissolve the Knesset in an interview with Radio 103FM.

"I don't know if the bill will pass a preliminary reading today. The government lost control of the country and stopped functioning in the middle of a national crisis. So eventually we'll have elections. I am not ready to discuss ministerial portfolios with Blue & White yet, however," said Lapid.

"If we do run with Blue & White, I will head the party because Yesh Lapid is twice as strong as they are [according to current polls]. I let Gantz get the #1 spot when his party was the biggest. Such a union could give us the election win."
