Nati Hadad has been released from an Israeli prison after completing a sentence for drug possession. He was initially imprisoned in Thailand but served out his term in Israel after intervention with the King of Thailand by President Rivlin.
Hadad ran a medical clinic in Thailand for Israelis. He was convicted of drug possession although he claimed that the drugs involved could be found in any medicine cabinet.
