The government today approved the Community Strengthening and Advancement Ministry to establish a national monitoring center for the effects of drug and alcohol use in the Authority for Combating Violence, Drugs, and Alcohol.
The purpose of the Center is to help decision makers and professionals develop "coping policies and strategies", by providing up-to-date and reliable, professional data-based information, and research and information that is renewed and updated over time.
