The new train station in Lod was inaugurated today in a ceremony attended by Transportation and Road Safety Minister MK Miri Regev, Israel Railways Director Michael (Micha) Meiksner, and Lod Mayor Yair Revivo.
The new station includes three passenger platforms and a commercial complex. In addition, there is a multi-story Park-n-Ride parking lot, with about 760 parking spaces.
