During a police operation in Ashkelon last Friday night, Ashkelon police noticed a private vehicle that aroused their suspicion.
Police asked the driver to stop at the side of the road. During the inspection, the police asked the two young men who were inside the vehicle to identify themselves. The young men refused, began to confront the policemen, spat on them and punched them. The police managed to take control of the attackers and arrested them.
They are in their 20s, residents of Kiryat Gat. They were taken for questioning by the Ashkelon police.
