During an enforcement operation by traffic police, a vehicle on Route 65 in the northern area was clocked speeding at 216 km/h.
Police stopped the vehicle few kilometers later. The driver, a 23-year-old resident of Kfar Qana, was detained for questioning by the examination unit.
At the end of the investigation he was taken for a speedy trial and released on restrictive conditions, with his driver’s license revoked for 30 days.
