According to the latest update by Israel's health ministry 1,027 people have been identified as positive coronavirus cases out of 48,261 tests that took place in the past 24 hours.
276 carriers are in serious condition, 107 are on ventilators and there have been 2,845 Covid-19 related deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.
