Walt Disney Co. said on Wednesday it would lay off 32,000 workers, primarily at its theme parks, due to the drop in the number of visitors to its theme parks during the coronavirus epidemic.
In September, the company announced it would lay off 28,000 employees, but with ongoing uncertainty regarding when its California park will reopen, it has increased the number of layoffs.
