Prof. Shuki Shemer, director of Assuta hospital in Ashdod, told Radio 103FM this morning that he agrees with the government's decision to allow malls to reopen in a pilot program that will shortly be reviewed.
"There was really no other choice," Shemer said. "We have to learn to live with coronavirus, and we have to restore regular life as far as is possible. Unfortunately," he added, "many people seem to have forgotten about an extremely basic measure - face masks. If 80% of the population wore them, we would soon be rid of this epidemic."
