According to data provided by the Health Ministry, 1,069 people were diagnosed with coronavirus in the last 24 hours, out of 60,463 tests performed.
There are currently 282 people hospitalized in serious condition for coronavirus-related complications in the country, of whom 122 are on ventilators.
The death toll since the epidemic's outbreak now stands at 2,826 people.
