Prime Minister Netanyahu is expected to embark on his first public visit to Bahrain early next week. Israel Hayom reports that during his trip, the PM is expected to meet with the crown prince of Bahrain.

It was also reported that the option of Netanyahu visiting the United Arab Emirates on the same trip was floated, but eventually, it was decided to hold off the visit at a different time.

The PM's staff is making final arrangements for the trip to Bahrain. As the final details of the meeting with the country's leader have yet to be established, the date of the Prime Minister's visit in the region may yet take effect.
