American affairs expert Shmuel Rozner believes Israel can relax after Joe Biden's appointments to key government positions affecting the Middle East were announced.

Rozner does not see any surprises coming since those appointed are experienced foreign policy officials. While the incoming secretary of state and national security advisor supported Obama's agreement with Iran, things have changed since then.

Even while Biden's appointees may wish to sign another agreement with Iran, the terms of that agreement are likely to reflect the new reality in the Middle East where recent agreements between Israel and the Gulf states are taken into account.
