El Al has notified employees of the extension of unpaid leave until December 31 for 5,074 employees of the company and its subsidiaries, most of whom have been on forced leave since March, the Globes website reported.
In its announcement, El Al states that "the gradual return of employees from unpaid leave will be in accordance with the planned volume of flights."
