The IDF reported that 44 soldiers were infected at an army base after a female soldier tested positive while on home leave.
"Additional soldiers suspected of having been in contact with virus carriers have been removed from the base and quarantined," said the IDF spokesman.
The report said all the patients are in a light condition.
