The Black Flags movement has sharply criticized the deal made between the Likud and Blue & White parties enabling a new accountant-general to be appointed (by the Likud), in exchange for allowing Blue & White to pick their own man to head the Alternate Prime Minister's Office.
"Israel needs a new chief commissioner of police, a new state attorney, a new director of the Justice Ministry - along with a whole list of other senior officials - but what Gantz cares about is promoting his friends to high places," they accused. "The moral stench from this corrupt deal will accompany every Israeli citizen to the polling booth."
