MK Ofer Shelah (Yesh Atid-Telem) has criticized the deal made between the Likud and Blue & White parties that enabled a new accountant-general and a director of the Alternate Prime Minister's Office to be appointed.

"This is what's really important to Gantz - in return for allowing Likud to make this key appointment to the Treasury, Blue & White got to pick the director of the Alternate Prime Minister's Office, which is a meaningless appointment with no substance to it. He didn't get to pick the director of the Justice Ministry, or the chief commissioner of police, but he did get to promote a close friend, which is what he really cares about."
