The UK Labour party is still in turmoil following its leader's decision not to readmit former leader Jeremy Corbyn into its ranks.

According to The Guardian, the chief whip (responsible for imposing party conformity) wrote to Corbyn last night telling him that he would be readmitted within three months, pending an investigation into whether he had broken the parliamentary Labour party code of conduct.

Current leader Keir Starmer has already said that the suspension will be kept "under review" and that Corbyn's conduct during the suspension will be taken into account.
