Speaking on Galei Tzahal this morning, MK Moshe Gafni (UTJ) suggested that his party would continue to support Netanyahu, as there was no feasible alternative to him as prime minister.
"We're definitely not in his pocket," Gafni said, "but right now, there's no real alternative, and he is of course taking advantage of that fact."
Asked to comment on the likelihood of Yamina party head MK Naftali Bennett becoming prime minister, Gafni responded: "Bennett's a really nice guy, but he's not a real option. He has no chance of becoming prime minister, and we won't support his candidacy. So it's really irrelevant what I think about whether he'd make a good prime minister or not."
