Knesset Speaker Yariv Levin has condemned the comparison made by a left-wing protester between PM Netanyahu and Hitler yimach shemo.
"The leaders of the protests against the Prime Minister have, yet again, crossed every possible red line," he said. It is absolutely abhorrent to compare the Prime Minister to this accursed Nazi and we must not allow such statements to become commonplace. This is nothing to do with free speech."
"I expect all the leaders of the protest, and indeed, all the protesters themselves, to totally reject this statement," he added. "All such demonstrations of vulgar hatred against the Prime Minister and his family must stop immediately. Enough of the violence and the unbridled incitement."
