Head of the Balad party, MK Jamal Zahalka, called for a "national resistance movement against Israeli occupation."
Zahalka clarified, stating that a "struggle of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians against Israeli occupation cannot be compared to the institutional blockade of Gaza, where people live in sub-human conditions."
