The Knesset plenum rejected in preliminary reading the Basic Law Bill: Government Amendment - Termination of office of the Prime Minister, Minister, or Deputy Minister due to filing an indictment by MK Yair Lapid and a group of Knesset Members.
After a vote, 36 Knesset members supported the proposal, compared to 50 who opposed it.
