The Transportation Ministry has begun promoting a new southern access road (611) that will serve the tens of thousands of residents of the new city of Harish. This is significant news for the existing residents of the city and for the tens of thousands of residents who are expected to soon inhabit the new neighborhoods that are currently being established in the south of the city.

The new road will make it possible to bypass the heavy traffic at Iron Interchange, and save them travel time in the employment areas of Tel Aviv and Haifa. The new road will also allow for continued development of the city in coming years, which is developing at an accelerated pace and is expected to be populated with 50-70 thousand residents within 3-5 years.
