Deputy Health Minister Yoav Kish today referred in a Kan News interview to the possibility of a night curfew: "I do not think it will be a major tool in reducing morbidity. Weddings are a matter of enforcement and it has nothing to do with whether there is a curfew or not. I see violations not only at weddings but also in all kinds of meetings. Any further opening now will bring us closer to another closure."

Speaking on the coronavirus cabinet debate, Kish said, "There are difficult decisions, such as whether to open retail, or fifth-sixth grades. Today, decisions will have to be made about continuing the lockdown strategy. In light of the cessation of the decline in morbidity, it is clear to us in the Health Ministry that it's impossible to alleviate without treating it on the other side."
